Professional Licensure
For more than a decade Maggie has developed a practice focused on civil rights and sex abuse litigation. With her extensive experience in these highly specialized areas and a proven record of success pursuing high-value claims against public entities like school districts, Maggie continues to zealously pursue claims for constitutional rights violations and other abuses of power on behalf of the clients of Lane + Linnenburger + Lane.

Maggie is particularly skilled at working with child victims to pursue civil rights violations occurring in school or other educational settings. Her background in education combines with her commitment to justice and keen legal and strategic mind to provide the type of empowering representation her clients do not get with other firms. Maggie continues to successfully prosecute claims of physical and sexual abuse against school districts for her clients and her advocacy pushing for criminal prosecutions on behalf of survivors is unmatched.

Prior to her litigation career, Maggie served as a Judicial Law Clerk for then-Senior Justice Patricio M. Serna on the New Mexico Supreme Court in Santa Fe.

Maggie is the busy mother of two very active girls. In her limited free time she enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, camping, being in the mountains, and doing nothing.
